This is a red, white and blue aftermarket magazine for Glock 9mm pistols. This is not a factory log. This magazine is made from the same smoked/clear Zytel polymer as the factory magazines. It also has a metal liner like the factory magazines, so it won't wear out on the pistol's magazine release. The handle extends approximately 6 inches.

33 Round Extended Magazine for Glock 17 19 26 9mm - Green - RWB Red White & Blue $19.95 I visited the ETS booth at the SHOT Show earlier this year and decided I had to try them. However, they are not readily available in Europe where I live, but I found them at a local retailer who had limited stock.
The magazine part number I found is GLK-18 and fits Glock 17, 18, 26 and 34 with 9×19mm 31 round capacity. I bought it at list price with my own money and ETS is unaware of this review (yet).

The magazine is manufactured in the USA by the ETS Group in Knoxville. and the package insert says it's 8 feet (2.4 meters) shockproof, chemical resistant, and resistant to temperature extremes and UV rays.
Also, ETS says their magazine is compatible with Glock magazine floorplates, which I haven't been able to verify, but I have no doubt about it.
Bottom: Magazine unpacked. The "knife" is PVK Vegas' Marfione Custom UTX-85 Tactical Beard Comb, and it's a pretty cool thing.
There are also colorful boards and tags if you want to mark the log (Quick Recognition System).

Bottom: I didn't think of that when testing, but the ETS board has knobs to help pull it out. With every attempt, the magazine fell out without any problems and it was also possible to insert it without any problems. This feature is more useful when trying to get a magazine out of a tight pocket.
I fired several hundred rounds of various types through the illustrated ETS magazine. I'm not even close to coming to any definitive conclusions as I anticipate my magazines will have a much longer lifespan. Time and ammo cost limit testing for obvious reasons, but after a few months of use I'm ready to make up my mind.
I had no issues during testing including light 93g bullets, heavy silencers and hollow points - I really couldn't find anything to complain about.
Glock and Glock can be different, so I let my friend see the magazine on his 4th gen too, plus zero issues.

However, I have concerns that the ETS Clear magazine will not hold up as well as the original Glock magazine. I can only justify it by the fact that they feel brittle in the material. Also, I think the ETS baseplate will be more fragile than the Glock.
We are all different and local laws prohibit carrying firearms for self defense but I don't think I would use transparent magazines to carry.

I paid a lot more because the local dealer in Europe added shipping, duty, profit etc to the price as usual. added, but US list price is $21.99.
Magpul charges the same for the PMAG 27 GL9, with its traditional design, color, and smaller capacity. Glock stock magazines are more expensive, but unless you buy a lot of them, few will likely notice the price.
There are a few other products from ETS that I'm considering. If my dealer had an ETS Glock 43 magazine, I would buy it immediately. I don't have an MP5 but if I did I would try their transparent magazines.
